My family and I had a wonderful holiday at Allen's place! The cottage feels quite grand, located atop a hill with a beautiful view. The location is ideal, in a quiet neighbourhood and just a short drive from Huntsville. The cottage was very spacious, clean, and comfortable for our large group. The living space was stylish with an inviting fireplace, and we especially enjoyed that the cottage was decorated for the holidays. The kitchen and large dining room table were great for cooking and enjoying our meals. All of the bedrooms were spacious, with comfortable beds and workstations for those of us working remotely. All of the details throughout the house confirmed that this this listing was prepped with the guest in mind - from the complimentary treats and essentials that we appreciated during our stay to a proactive host responding quickly to our questions. I highly recommend this beautiful cottage for a family vacation. Thank you Allen for hosting us!

Amazing stay at Allen’s. We went in a group of 8 adults for a winter getaway. The house was extremely close to all major winter activities and a large town with the essentials you need. The roads were cleaned and easy to drive. The home itself was absolutely pristine clean. There was nothing that I found out of place. Even all the sheets felt clean, which is very hard to find! Large and spacious for our group. Allen has all the amenities you need for your stay plus some. He was very generous with complementary snacks which was the cherry on top. The games in the home was a great bonus for the friends to play during the cold nights in. Overall, Allen was very responsive and helpful with giving local recommendations for us group. The house is tastefully decorated, clean, with a great humorous touch in areas. This Airbnb is the best Airbnb I have stayed at till date. 10/10 recommend!!

Allen’s cottage was spacious, clean and beautiful! Comfortable beds and mattresses. Fully equipped and well thought of for guests to enjoy. Lots of compliments of snacks which was so sweet to see! Absolutely breathtaking surroundings and a nice fire pit for marshmallows and smores! The Google nest and karaoke machine was a nice touch! Would highly recommend staying at Allen’s cottage. He was very kind and very accommodating. Thank you!

Wonderful cottage for a family getaway! The place was great, with so many options for play and activities. The kids (and us adults!) especially loved the game room and the video game console. The cottage is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and even includes a snack cupboard (which the kids really appreciated!) Allen, the host, was absolutely wonderful and even helped us solve an issue that had nothing to do with the cottage. The area is full of great things to do with kids, and Arrowhead Park is just a short drive away for anyone who loves hiking. We highly recommend this cottage for a family vacation!
